Robert Knowles, whose research focuses on international relations theory to administrative law, national security law, and constitutional law, previously was an acting assistant professor in the New York University School of Law. While an associate at Covington & Burling LLP, Professor Knowles represented sixteen Yemeni detainees at Guantanamo Bay.

Bill Dazey has been practicing law in Indianapolis since 1977 and has worked as an assistant federal defender for the past nine years. He has accepted appointments in a total of seven habeas corpus cases filed on behalf of Guantanamo detainees and is currently working on two active cases on behalf of clients with whom he regularly meets at Guantanamo.
